Hi, I work desktop support for Illinois State University and we have some people in Athletics that use your FingerTec scanner. When running the program we get an identical error to the first problem on this website: http://www.fingertec.com/newsletter/June2011/TIPS-02.html. Our problem is that this program is run off of a network share and was never set to backup. We would like to just restore the entire TCMSv2 network location from a backup of a week ago, but we were not sure if that should work. Ideally we just want a way so we do not need to repopulate the database.
Does that all make sense and do you have any thoughts and ideas on the topic?
